We were created to serve as the sustainable engine for the SAMU family’s global and local missions.
Our drop-off points have a manual drop box where items can be deposited. By default, we cannot accept any item that does not fit through the drop box, so we kindly ask you to take this into consideration before dropping off your items. In case of doubt, please request a free home pickup. To ensure a smooth and eco-friendly process, we kindly ask you to review our acceptance criteria before coming over to one of our drop-off zones.
Your contributions directly fuel SAMU’s life-saving missions, from providing immediate relief to asylum seekers in the DMV area to deploying medical teams to international disaster zones. We kindly ask you to take into consideration our limitations when it comes to proccess certain objects.
Items We WelcomeClothing & Accessories: Gently used shirts, pants, and coats for all ages.
Footwear: Clean pairs of shoes and sneakers in good condition.
Small Electronics: Smartphones, tablets, laptops, consoles…
Household Linens: Clean sheets, towels, and blankets (please, no used pillows).
Items We Cannot TakeAny Furniture: the objects must fit inside the container/trailer door.
Mattresses: Due to health and safety regulations.
Damaged Goods: Items with heavy stains, large tears, or broken parts.
Big Electronics: refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washing machines…
Hazardous Materials: Chemicals, or sharp objects.
Stop by one of our official Givecycle Drop-Off Points at the Clarksburg Premium Outlets Mall or Hughes United Methodist Church, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM from Monday to Sunday.
